The Friends Of The Chemistry Olympiad e.V. (FChO e.V.) was founded by former enthusiastic participants of the Chemistry Olympiad in 1992. We support the German selection procedure for the international contest (IChO) – ideally and materially. Building on this, the FChO seeks to generally strengthen the sciences in schools. For this reason, the FChO extends their range of activities to the support of other chemistry competitions as well. Thus, it promotes chemistry on different levels.

The FChO keeps contact between the members and connects school, university and economy by building a lasting network. Nowadays our association has above 450 members.
