Chemistry - even the layman associates it with experiments; many students find them to be the most exciting aspect of chemistry. Accordingly, there are many experimental competitions. These give students the opportunity to do fun experiments, see fascinating effects and prove their abilities with common household materials. Considering over 20,000 participants each year, these competitions are quite popular among students.
The FChO does not organize these competitions itself, but works in close cooperation with the organizers - same as with the International Chemistry Olympiad. We organize an experimental seminar (Experimentalseminar) for the winners of the experimental competitions.
The following table provides an overview of the competitions in the different states.
